Manet Mashup

In this photo from 1997 I am in my Atlanta Studio at 10 Krog Street.
I am painting a french impressionist style mural for one of the many Atlanta Bread Company locations. I combined the subjects from two different Édouard Manet paintings, In the Conservatory,
and Chez Le Père Lathuile.
Edouard Manet (January 23, 1832 - April 30, 1883) was a French painter.
One of the first nineteenth century artists to approach modern-life subjects, he was a pivotal figure in the transition from Realism to Impressionism.
The painters who would go on to create Impressionism would claim his paintings marked the genesis of modern art.
